Slate Sizes in inches and # pieces per square or 10 sq. ft. with a 3"
headlap.
One "square" or (sq.) of slate is equivalent to 100 square
feet of roof area.
Pieces per square can be calculated by using the formula:
14,400/[((Length-Headlap)/2) x Width]
